You are not alone. 💜 Almost 7 million people in the U.S. are suffering from Alzheimer's. That means there are 7 million families, countless friends, and caregivers who are also burdened by this disease that has no cure. I lost my beautiful mom more than 10 years ago. I watched her lose touch with her mind and the memories of our lives together. I watched my father struggle day to day, slowly and agonizingly losing the woman he'd loved since he was 15 years old. We had to walk her home. It was a comfort to me, that she didn't have to travel down that road alone. We all traveled it together. It was long and rocky. It was brutal, but we did it together.
